  • look – its saturday morning & everyone is there. a first is a lot of saturdays.

its now sunday almost evening …. most of us took naps & we’re just kinda slowly waking up. molly is still in bed, which is good : )

regan & rex are making popcorn, she drug the nosiest chair from the table to the counter and is shouting (just ’cause she’s that loud) ‘pop pop! pop!’

we just have a few pictures from our week. it was a different week ….the kids had colds, school was hit & miss, schedules were rearranged, rex had a birthday.  back to normal this week though – ’cause our life is so normal : )

we went to the pumpkin patch. we pulled into the lot to see 2 big yellow school buses, lovely i thought we’d just blend right in, expect we all didn’t have the same shirts on & we didn’t all stay in a line : )

it was hot – we weren’t there in cozy sweaters & fall boots!

we stopped by home depot afterward. here’s where i could write a whole post on the comments that came from the garden center ladies with orange aprons!  gracious. somehow we made their day : )

the muffins weren’t baking fast enough for her – so she self applied her own butter to an untoasted english muffin.

yes, that’s rex & yes that is his hair …. after it had been cut.  i think one of the kids favorite parts of the week is awana. last weeks theme night was crazy hair & since rex is in charge he decided to go all out : ) 36 colored pig tails that stiffened as they dried.

she’s been watching violin practice lately & thought she was pretty fancy to try it on her own.

i’m going to take more pictures this week.
    we’ll be back.

  • I love the self applied butter to the english muffin..that is just too funny.
FlipFlops at the Pumpkin Patch? I think we may have done that once, otherwise it’s boots and sweaters.
Flowers at The Home Depot? Wow…I don’t get to see those little black cartons filled with pretty plants until May.

    Happy Monday to you. =)

  • Regan is too cute with her english muffin.  That girl cracks me up!   I can’t imagine eating that one bite with all the butter on it!
Yeah as much as I love cute sweaters and boots it doesn’t happen down here either at the pumpkin patch.
