I just noticed today that we missed taking down a strand in our tree outside…so it’s sounds like the perfect thing to do on Jan21:)
but do get down off that ladder, didn’t anyone tell you that you’re not supposed to do things like that when you’re 40wks;)
…thinking how I could justify an afternoon jaunt to the donut store…
so. which came first the lego mess or the donuts? because it would seem to me that (in our house) it would be an either or kind of thing. =) the donuts look so good, btw!!
and taking down Christmas lights, on a ladder, while the hubs is gone and you’re 40 weeks pregnant?! if i’d do that….well, let’s just say that i’ve done my share of things similar to that (scared of heights, so ladders are not even a consideration) and my husband pretty much won’t let me alone for long when i’m in nesting mode. ;O) course, maybe you’re not, but….i’m just guessing.
happy rest-of-the-weekend to you!
I think the donuts are a coping mechanism for the Lego situation!
no more ladders for you young lady! I always like to go outside and garden or something more fun when the house needs picking up
TIP – My biggest victory over Legos was a lasting one. When my boys were little I gave them a big table cloth to play Legos on, and MOST of them actually stayed on it. When it was time to clean up you just gather all the edges and put the whole thing in a plastic bin.
We still have our lights up. They just look so cozy with the snow. Where is that big, 40 week baby belly? I can hardly see anything!
